http://www.gopetition.com/ I will be adding some pretty graphic images as I find them and I'll also take some pictures of the horses at our local auction and add them to this page as I get them. These horses are treated so poorly, and is truly disheartening to see this and let it go on. I've set up a paypal account so that anyone that wants to donate to help these horses and give them the gift of having a life without fear and neglect can do so. I will house the horses at my farm and will also try to get them on live pasture camera and barn camera when I get them. Our goal is to rescue as many horses as we possibly can from: auction barns, feed lots, even right off the truck heading to the slaughter house of kill pen, etc,! you can donate to this cause by visiting www.paypal.com then click send money link and type this address in precioushorsebabe@gmail.com and fill in the required fields. and just remember anything helps! Or just click on our donation button below. Thank you!

FACTS: taken from various websites during my research Canada slaughters an average of about 62,000 horses a year, of which about 25,000 come from the U.S., according to Agriculture Canada statistics. About 65,000 are slaughtered each year in the U.S. Horses hauled to the plants include race horses and ranch horses, wild horses and family horses. Numerous credible sources have described the intense psychological trauma experienced by horses approaching the killing box and, further, have revealed the indisputable physical suffering associated with improper stunning and shooting practices. Dying in terror, not with dignity, is the fate of tens of thousands of Canadian horses every year. In addition, the poor handling and management of horses during loading and transport, as well as at auction marts and feedlots, is a serious animal welfare concern. A year ago, there were 3 plants in Canada - 2 in Quebec and one in Alberta. Today, this number has doubled - there now exists 2 in Quebec, 2 in Alberta, one in BC and one in Saskatchewan. The Slaughter houses were shut down in the United States, however a loop hole was created skirting the law and allowing the USA KILL BUYERS to continue to ship horses NOW Canada and Mexico. THIS MUST BE STOPPED! The time has come to SHUT DOWN the SLAUGHTER HOUSES!
